Thank you to Mike Herzog for a wonderful display of Civil War artifacts and memorabilia. Stop in to view until the end of May.

BIKE SAFETY EVENT

Mark your calendars! A FREE bike safety event will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 1:00pm. Kids bring your bikes to the new Trail Head at the park on Platteview Rd. A free helmet giveaway, bike checks, safety tips, and obstacle course will be part of the fun. The program is sponsored by Summit Health Physical Therapy and Springfield Library with support by Sarpy/Cass Safe Kids, Live Well Omaha, Springfield Volunteer Fire Dept. & Sarpy County Sheriffs Dept.

LEGO CLUB

The Library was a recipient of a grant from the Eastern Library Regional System for funds to begin a Lego Club. We also received a donation of a huge box of Legos from Lego Systems and the Association for Library Service to Children. Lego Club meets once a month. We started in March and so far the program is a hit!
