FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
Friends of the Library is a fundraising group that benefits the
library. This group provides many extras to our library. The Friends
Board meets monthly, September through May. Major fundraising events
include the Christmas Cookie Walk, Duck Drop Race during Springfield
Days, and assisting with the annual Used Book Sale. All patrons are
invited to join the Friends of the Library.
The mission of the library is to assemble, preserve, and administer in organized collections, books and related educational materials to promote through guidance and stimulation the communication of ideas, enlightened citizenship and enrich personal lives.
