Stitching Group

Join us every Wednesday from 10am - noon to knit or crochet. We  teach beginning lessons, also.

Quilt Group

Meets every first Saturday of the month, September - May. Bring your sewing machine to work on your project. Lessons are provided, also. Welcoming new members. Please call the Library for more info.

Book Club

All books are provided for Book Club. To join the group, give us a call or stop by to pick up a book.


Crafty Tuesday
Ladies Night Out!

Every fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 7:30pm, we get crafty. Please call to reserve your spot.


Local History & Genealogy Resources


Located in the Adult section of the Library. Local cemetery records, books, photos, and much more are available. We welcome donations of local materials for our collection. For more information, stop in or call 402-253-2797.


Adult Summer Reading Program: Not just for kids!


Adults are invited to sign up and complete a Bingo Reading and Activity Sheet. There are many ways to be eligible for grand prizes and door prizes.

Friends of the Library

Friends of the Springfield Memorial Library provides many extras for the Library such as the Overdrive e-book and audiobook program, Golden Sower books for juvenile readers, and much more. Two main fundraisers are the Christmas Cookie Walk and the Duck Drop Race at Springfield Days. Meetings are held monthly September through May. To become a member, please contact the Library.
